Project Details
In 2018 I created the most relevant student community for IED Students, while I was still a student there.
In 2021 the community, named Studenti IED, became a solid and reliable standpoint for everything.
Since the community was growing bigger, there was a need to efficiently organize all of the traffic that was coming from all of IED's Venues. So I created a complex Discord community that enabled all of the newcomers to meet each other before starting IED.
1 year later, I was hired by IED to make the Discord an official tool for all the newcomers.
My Role in this Project
I created the whole platform by myself. All of the features inside the platform have been implemented after an attentive analysis of what students look the most forward to before entering a new university. After the feedback, I went on to create:
An efficient Ticketing system
100 text channels for every single course in every IED venue
A comprehensible resource page so students can check valuable info without checking the main website
An outstanding and independent notice board system that allows students to publish requests, like apartment search, sell&buy material or even post job requests!
To this day, this is the only official and complete Discord Channel made for an Italian university!
