Cyclearn is the first italian Learning-App that aims to be a new frontier for 100% student-oriented courses, made by young teachers.

About the project

Cyclearn aims to address all the specific problems within the average life of the university student in bigger cities, by building a community that empowers and improves upon very common, unaddressed topics (such as student's mental health, how to overcome the fear of failure, study methods, Financial awareness etc...). The platform is fully gamified and it's going to be available soon also for iOS and Android.

Project Details

In 2023 I started to develop the idea of a startup that would help university students better approach their first period in a new university.
After all the experience I've gathered from my time as an LMS Strategist & Digital Transformation Consultant, I was able to understand what was necessary to create an engaging learning platform.
So, after reaching out to a team of developers, I started working on the app right away. The final goal was to create a gamified learning app that hosted video courses related to everyday issues that university students had to go through.
Some of these courses are related to study methods, others are related to how students should manage their finances and others even talk about what to expect about the social and career life of specific universities in Italy!

One of the innovative factors of this platform is the fact that courses are presented by very young teachers, that know all too well all the struggles university students in Italy have to go through everyday.

My Role in this Project

Being the CEO of Cyclearn, my main role is to set the course for everything we do. Cyclearn's incredible operational team is made by me, my associate and co-founder, a UI & Graphic Designer and a Videographer & Producer. And of course the dev team.
My other roles inside this project came along the more the startup grew. Some of the responsibilities I have inside this project are:

Project Manager: the flow of the operations of Cyclearn has always been directly dependent on the communication in the team. It's my job to keep everything going smoothly.
Researcher: finding suitable profiles for teaching is not an easy task. Specially if you're looking for outstanding individuals who know how to write a script and interpret it.
Content Creator: we have several social channels where we promote all the content we do at Cyclearn, so we all need to have some editing and storytelling skills.
Tech Stack Specialist: in a time where thousands of tools exist for every single need, it's crucial to select the ones that are able to empower your product the most.
